A prestigious international triennial craft competition hosted by Itami City Museum of Art. The 2026 edition focuses on "Shuki Shuhaidai" (sake ware), inviting artists worldwide to submit original functional or conceptual drinking vessels. Selected works are exhibited at the museum and judged based on the physical originals.

Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition 2026

The Royal Society of Marine Artists holds its Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries in London, seeking art inspired by the sea and the marine environment - harbours and shorelines, traditional craft and contemporary shipping, creeks, beaches and coastal wildlife, in short anything involving tidal water. Artists submit through the Open Exhibition Submission System, with a non-refundable fee of £22 per work or £14.50 for artists aged 35 or under, which includes free admission. Selected works are delivered in early September and shown at the gallery later that month. The open call runs from April 13 to July 24, 2026, and is open to all.

The Big Works Show, Artists Equity Fall Members' Exhibition

First $300, Second $200, Third $100, plus three Honorable Mentions each receiving a one-year Artists Equity membership valued at $60.

Philadelphia/Tri-State Artists Equity invites members to submit large-scale work for The Big Works Show, its fall members' exhibition at the Main Line Art Center in Haverford, Pennsylvania. The show is juried by artist and educator Kassem Amoudi and awards cash prizes. Membership is required to apply and work must be hand delivered.

Artistic Vision

Hugo Rivera Gallery in Laguna Beach holds an in-gallery juried exhibition titled Artistic Vision, open to artists internationally in all two-dimensional media. Accepted wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 24 by 30 inches including framing, and must be available for the full run of the show. The exhibition runs August 6 through August 30, with an opening night on August 6.

City of Toronto Cultural Centres and Galleries: Call for Exhibition Submissions

The City of Toronto invites artists to submit for month-long exhibitions at its cultural centre galleries, including Cedar Ridge Gallery and Clark Centre Gallery (Gallery 191). Selected individuals and groups show visual art and craft in various media across 2026 and 2027. Free to apply.

Series: One Thing After Another

Site:Brooklyn presents 'Series: One Thing After Another,' a juried group exhibition for work exploring contemporary seriality, from historical precedents to postwar industrial approaches and critiques of mass production. Open to all artists 18 and over in all media. Entry fee is USD $26 for three images.

Reclaiming the Ordinary

Woodward Contemporary in San Diego presents Reclaiming the Ordinary, a national juried exhibition celebrating the overlooked, the familiar, and the everyday. The show is juried by Peggi Kroll-Roberts and runs August 19 through September 12, 2026. Entries must be original work created entirely by the artist; no digital art or reproductions.

Night Vision

Artlink Contemporary Gallery in Fort Wayne, Indiana holds Night Vision, a juried exhibition open to US-resident artists 18 and older working in all media. The show celebrates work drawn to the vivid colors of the dark and the possibilities of the night. The entry fee is $12 per entry.

2026 Holiday Fine Art Market

The Arvada Center's annual Holiday Fine Art Market is a juried show and sale held in the Main Gallery, running November 27 to December 13, 2026. Open to Colorado artists 18 and over in all media. A non-refundable jury fee of USD $35 applies, with a further participation fee on acceptance; the Center retains a 40 percent commission on sales.
