About this call
Collective Z in New York invites artists to apply for Small Hours, its December group exhibition (December 11, 2026 to January 9, 2027). Every artist shows four works in one small size, hung in grids. The gallery is looking for work that rewards standing close, in any medium that arrives as a finished object at the size, abstraction and figuration alike. Selected artists are presented to the gallery's collectors and advisors before the opening and considered for Camp Z, the gallery's art fair program. Artists receive professional installation photography and an online presentation via Artsy, press outreach, an opening reception and sales support at a 50/50 split. There is no hanging fee and no participation fee for selected artists.
