Open Call for Exhibitions, FSU Gallery 2027 Season

About this call

The Gallery of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts (FSU) in Belgrade, Serbia, invites exhibition proposals for its 2027 season. The call is for solo, group or thematic exhibitions of contemporary art, open to artists, artist groups and collectives, curators and curatorial teams working in contemporary artistic and visual practices, regardless of age, formal education or previous experience. Form, medium and technique are free, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, new media, performance and intermedia practices. Use of the exhibition space is free of charge; the gallery provides the space, basic technical and organisational support and promotion, while artists are responsible for production, transport and installation. Proposals are judged on artistic and conceptual clarity, originality, relevance to the gallery's programme and feasibility in the space. Results will be published by 25 December 2026.

• Open to artists of all profiles in contemporary fine and visual arts, artist groups and collectives, curators and curatorial teams, regardless of age, formal education or previous experience. Apply only through the online form, which asks for: name or name of the collective, email address and phone number; an exhibition proposal (concept, up to one A4 page, as text or a link); a public link (Google Drive, WeTransfer or Dropbox) to visual material such as photos, sketches or visualisations, plus links to video or audio works if any; technical specifications of the exhibition (space, installation, technical requirements); a short CV and narrative biography of the artist or team (up to 300 words); and proposed dates in 2027 (the call text calls this desirable but not required, the online form marks it as required). Deadline 15 December 2026 at 23:59; late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Artists are responsible for production, transport and installation of the works, in cooperation with the gallery; the gallery's artistic council may propose programme or technical changes in agreement with the artists. Use of the exhibition space is free of charge, and the call does not mention an application fee. Results by 25 December 2026 on the faculty's official channels; selected applicants are contacted directly.
