About this call
A Smith Gallery, a photographic arts gallery in Johnson City, Texas, invites photographers to submit pinhole images, digital or analog, for pinhole, a juried online exhibition. Juror Amanda Smith, the gallery's founder and co-director, will select up to 47 images in total. Each selected image is featured on Facebook and Instagram during the exhibition, discussed by the gallery directors in a GalleryTalk posted on the gallery blog, listed for sale in the gallery's online store and included in an exhibition catalogue; 27 of the selected images are chosen for The 27, a hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. The exhibition runs January 1 to February 28, 2027 and is permanently archived afterwards.

The gallery keeps 30% of the sales price of prints sold through its online store; when a print sells, the artist either ships a signed print directly to the buyer or the gallery prints the image for the artist. Photographers retain full rights to their images; the gallery uses them for publicity and in the online gallery, online store, exhibition catalogue and The 27 book.
