About this call
La Villa Pérochon, a centre for contemporary photographic art in Niort, France, hosts six emerging international photographers for the Encounters of Young International Photography Artist Residency, from 26 March to 12 April 2027. This year the residents are mentored throughout their stay by the artist duo Simon Brodbeck and Lucie de Barbuat, with technical support from the Villa Pérochon team and two printers at the Picto lab, and a facility with a black-and-white film darkroom and a digital workshop reserved for them. The residency is a carte blanche. Residents produce works for an exhibition at the Bernard d'Agesci Museum in Niort, from 10 April to 31 May 2027. Round-trip travel, supplies, lodging, breakfast and dinner are covered, and each artist receives a €400 residency grant and €400 in exhibition fees.
