About this call

The inaugural Ming Fay Research Fellowship supports original, archives-based scholarship on artist Ming Fay (1943-2025), whose work encompassed sculpture, drawing, installation, ecology, and transnational cultural histories. Research engages materials at NYU Special Collections, Asia Art Archive, and the Ming Fay Studio/Estate. The fellowship offers two tracks: a Senior track for established scholars, professors, and curators, and an Exploratory track for emerging researchers and graduate students.
