About this call
Copenhagen Photo Festival invites artists and photographers working with photography or lens-based art to submit projects for solo exhibitions at the 2027 festival under the theme "Frie haender / Free Hands." Ten projects will be selected, with 3-5 receiving solo exhibitions and the rest shown as digital screenings. Solo exhibitors receive EUR 537, EUR 400 travel support, and EUR 134 for local expenses. Projects must not have been fully exhibited in Denmark before.

- Open to artists and photographers working with photography or lens-based art. Project must relate to the theme "Frie haender / Free Hands." Submit minimum 10 images (min 1500px long side, sRGB), biography, CV, and project description (max 3,000 characters). Project must not have been fully exhibited in Denmark. Artists selected as CPF solo artists within the last three years should wait before reapplying. Previously shortlisted projects will not be reconsidered.
