About this call

VI PER Gallery, a non-profit gallery in Prague, Czech Republic, focused on architecture and its intersections with contemporary art, urbanism, design and media, invites exhibition proposals from architects, artists, designers, researchers, curators and critics, individually or in teams. Projects should reflect on the relevance of architecture in responding to contemporary issues and discourse; new projects not previously shown are especially welcome. An international jury will select one proposal, to be shown at the gallery in late 2027 for about two months in a main room of about 8.8 × 5.7 × 3.3 m and a smaller side room. The gallery offers installation assistance, up to EUR 6,000 for materials, fabrication, transport, fees and travel, graphic design and printing, Czech and English texts, PR, documentation and an opening.

Who can apply

  • Open to applicants of any nationality
  • Medium: Installation / Curatorial / Mixed Media
  • Entry fee: See official site
  • Open to architects, artists, designers, researchers, curators and critics, individually or as teams, of any nationality and country of residence, with no age restrictions. Submit by email to info@vipergallery.org by November 22, 2026, with the subject line "Applicant's Name_Title_VI PER Gallery_Call 2026": one PDF in English, max. 5 MB, named "Applicant's Name_Title", containing a project abstract (max. 150 words), a detailed project description (max. 1,000 words with visualizations, max. 5 pages, including name, title and contact details), a related public events programme, a biography of max. 150 words per author or participant, a work plan and timeline, and a budget proposal. Incomplete, late or improperly formatted applications are not considered. Given the size of the space, thematic exhibitions or exhibitions with a relatively small number of participants are recommended; for financially demanding projects, applicants are advised to seek additional funding. One project is selected and results are announced in December 2026. The curator(s) and/or participants should take part in the related public programme. Applicants grant the gallery permission to reproduce and publish materials from their application. Floor plans and photos of the space are provided with the call documentation. The page does not mention an application fee.
