About this call

What Remains, the Dōshi Gallery Juried Exhibition at Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, asks artists to explore the theme of memory, whether conceptually or through medium and technique: how memory is preserved, altered or lost, and what these processes reveal about individual and collective experience. The juror is Claudia Pretelin, an art historian, independent curator and producer based in Los Angeles whose research focuses on the history of photography, cinema and contemporary art. Selections are made on how well the work fits the theme and on the group of pieces that works best as a whole, through a blind jurying process. The exhibition runs January 15 to April 11, 2027, in the Dōshi Gallery in the museum lobby and the DeSoto Family Vault. A Juror's Choice Prize of $400 and a Viewer's Choice Prize of $250 will be awarded; visitors can vote for the latter through March 19, 2027.
