A Space Gallery Fall 2026 Open Call: Solo Exhibition
About this call
A Space Gallery in Brooklyn, New York is accepting submissions for its Fall 2026 solo exhibition programme. The gallery says it is especially interested in supporting underrepresented artists, in projects that engage the gallery space in thoughtful or unexpected ways, and in work that does not fit easily within the framework of a traditional commercial gallery. Submissions are welcome from artists of all educational backgrounds and career stages, based in the United States or internationally. Applicants send five labelled JPG images; video work should be represented by a still plus a clip of two minutes maximum. Selected artists develop the exhibition with the gallery's curatorial team, and exhibition dates within Fall 2026 are set case by case.

- Application fee is 35 USD, non-refundable. Submit five images in JPG or JPEG, each labelled First name_Last name_Title_Medium_Size_Year; for video include a still image plus a clip of two minutes maximum. Accepted images may be used on the gallery website, social media and promotional materials. Work must arrive by the installation date and must be installed by the artist, with assistance from a gallery staff member. Each piece needs a label on the back or bottom with name, title, medium and price, and must be ready for presentation. If work is shipped, a prepaid return shipping label must be included in the package.
