About this call

Sound Art Lab in Struer, Denmark, runs an artist residency for projects in any field of sound and listening. Self-funded residencies are open to anyone working artistically with sound and have a running deadline. Residents get facilities for artistic production accessible around the clock, a private room in the shared artist apartment in central Struer, artistic and technical supervision as far as possible, space and equipment for public presentations, and connections to local audio technology companies and international networks. Sound Art Lab does not provide travel, an artist fee, production materials or food, and can provide letters for applying for external funding. The duration is agreed individually, with stays of at least one month encouraged. Residents are asked to document their stay; no finished product is expected.
