Representation and Promotion (Arts Across Canada and Abroad)
About this call
Representation and Promotion is one of ten funding opportunities in Arts Across Canada and Abroad, the program introduced in 2025 that combines the former Arts Across Canada and Arts Abroad programs. The Council describes it as funding for travel activities linked to promotion and the development of markets for artists and artistic works from Canada. The program as a whole connects artists from Canada with audiences at home and around the world, and lets artists, arts professionals, groups and organizations apply to share, present and tour their work, engage with the public and build stronger national and international profiles. Past recipients include foreign-purchaser participation in the MUTEK Forum, which the Council cites as an example of the Representation and Promotion component in use. There is no fixed deadline. Applications are accepted any time before the departure date, and the Council says results usually arrive within 4 months of submitting an application.
