About this call
The Shared Givat Haviva Art Center, with the Yad Yaari Center and the Menashe Regional Council, invites artists to submit existing works for a group exhibition at the Givat Haviva Art Gallery in Israel. Inspired by A. D. Gordon's line "No new skies, no new land", the show looks at renewal not as formal novelty but as a deep change in how we relate to what exists, and asks how we might look again at the kibbutz, ourselves and the world. 2027 marks a hundred years of the development of the kibbutz movements, and a new movement house is to open at Givat Haviva. The organizers seek works with a personal, critical or unexpected point of view that open room to think about the possible without offering a single answer. A professional jury from the Givat Haviva art center and Yad Yaari selects on artistic quality, contribution to the curatorial line and connection to the kibbutz, its ideas, history or changing reality. The exhibition runs 3 to 17 April 2027 and opens within the Hitkabtzu event at Givat Haviva.
