About this call

Gasworks in London, United Kingdom, and Upė Foundation are recruiting a Curatorial Fellow: a full-time paid position of 12 months, with the possibility of a 6-month extension, embedded in Gasworks' curatorial team. It is a professional development opportunity for an early-career curator with a connection to the Baltic region (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) or its diasporas. Working with Gasworks' Curator and Assistant Curator, the Fellow contributes to exhibitions, residencies, public programmes and events, and in particular supports the artist selected through the parallel Upė Foundation open call during their 2027 residency and towards their solo exhibition at Gasworks in 2028. The contract runs April 2027 to September 2028, five days a week, at a salary of GBP 32,000 per annum, with 25 days of annual leave plus UK public holidays and a 5% employer pension contribution. Gasworks will consider visa sponsorship, with visa costs covered by Upė Foundation subject to individual circumstances, and covers return flights for relocating candidates up to GBP 250. Applicants complete the application form after reading the job description; selection includes two rounds of panel interviews.
