About this call
SAVAC and the Centre for South Asian Critical Humanities (CSACH) at the University of Toronto Mississauga, Canada, invite applications for a campus-based artist-in-residence for the winter semester, February to April 2027. The artist develops site-responsive or site-specific work in any medium, digital, material or performative, culminating in a temporary or short-term installation on campus. Regular contact with students is central: the artist leads at least two class visits, seminars, talks or workshops and gives one public lecture. The residency is funded and administered solely by CSACH; SAVAC is the community partner. One artist is selected.
