About this call
Arts Etobicoke's Artist Residency Program, now in its third year, gives three artists space to create and develop new work over a three-month period, ending in a solo exhibition or performance at The Storefront Gallery in West Toronto, Canada. Selected artists get access to a basement studio at Arts Etobicoke during regular open hours (the space has limited ventilation and storage), a four-week exhibition or performance with time for installation and takedown, and an opening reception on the first Wednesday of the exhibition. Performing and literary artists get customized support to present their work in an appropriate format. Applications are reviewed by the Gallery Steering Committee on artistic merit, technical skill and alignment with Arts Etobicoke's vision.
