About this call

The Asian Cultural Council Hong Kong (ACC HK) awards fellowships and grants supporting transformative cultural exchange in the visual arts, performing arts, architecture, museum studies, musicology, curation, crafts, and 9 other disciplines between Hong Kong, the United States, and Asia. Programs include the New York Fellowship (6 months, up to USD 38,000), Individual Fellowship (1-6 months, up to USD 35,000), Graduate Fellowship (USD 15,000 per year), and Organization Grant (up to USD 50,000). Applications are accepted from artists, arts professionals, scholars, and organizations from ACC's 26 eligible countries, territories, and regions. The 2027 grant cycle opens October 1, 2026, and closes November 10, 2026; grant activities run August 1, 2027 through December 31, 2028. The New York and Graduate Fellowships take place in the United States. Individual Fellows choose their destination among ACC's eligible countries and regions, but not the one where they currently live.

At least 5 years of professional experience in an eligible discipline (waived for Graduate Fellowship). Applicants must be at least 21 years old for individual fellowships. Proposed activities must occur within the grant period (August 1, 2027 to December 31, 2028). Letters of recommendation due November 16, 2026.
