About this call
Homesession, a Barcelona artspace and residency, opens a call for a three-month artistic residency at MeetFactory in Prague, Czech Republic, from 6 February to 6 May 2027. The call is part of an exchange between MeetFactory and Homesession with the collaboration of the Instituto Cervantes in Prague. One artist is selected by a jury. The artist receives EUR 4,000 from Homesession (gross, including taxes) for fees and production, a EUR 200 production budget from MeetFactory (reimbursed against receipts), flights from any European city (intercontinental flights are not covered), private accommodation in a small house next to MeetFactory, a private 40 m2 studio with 24-hour access, access to a wood and metal workshop, and curatorial guidance and production support. The residency is for research and/or production: there is no final exhibition, and a joint open studio takes place during the Public House event on 4 or 5 May 2027 (date to be confirmed). Candidates are notified on 15 December 2026.
