About this call

The City of Kitchener is accepting proposals for its 2027 exhibition program at the Rotunda Gallery, located on the ground floor of Kitchener City Hall in Ontario. Five artists will be selected, each showing for two months across the January to December 2027 program. The City will consider applications from Ontario artists, and applicants from the Region of Waterloo or with a connection to the region will be given preference. Applicants must meet the City's definition of an artist, which covers specialized artistic training, critical recognition by peers, an active practice, a history of public exhibitions and an independent body of work. The gallery accommodates two-dimensional work only and cannot take sculpture unless it can be wall-mounted using the existing hanging system. Each selected artist is paid a CARFAC exhibition fee according to Section A.1.6. The deadline to apply is Thursday, August 27 at 5 p.m.
