Online Juried Theme Gallery Call: Summertime
About this call
Arizona Photography Alliance runs its theme gallery series as fully online juried exhibitions, and the second call of 2026 takes summer as its subject, described as long days, lazy days and gentle breezes. Photographers may submit up to three images and the juror picks one from each entrant, so everyone who enters appears in the virtual gallery. Analogue, digital and alternative process work is all accepted; AI generated imagery is not. The juror is Claire A. Warden, an interdisciplinary artist whose work has appeared in Harper's Magazine and Der Greif and who has held residencies at Light Work and the Center for Photography at Woodstock. She selects one first place winner for a 100 dollar cash award plus two honorable mentions, all promoted through the alliance website and social channels. Entries close 16 August 2026, jurying runs to 23 August, notifications go out 30 August and the gallery opens online on 1 September. Members pay 25 dollars and non members pay 50 dollars.
