AFTER THE PALACE: Resonance is an international video mapping contest inviting artists to engage creatively with the architecture of the socialist era. The competition focuses on the Building Z courtyard at the New Administrative Centre in Nowa Huta, Krakow, Poland, a site that embodies themes of dissonant heritage, architecture of power, and public space transformation. Artists submit original audiovisual works using 2D or 3D video mapping techniques that respond to the designated building architecture. Works are evaluated on artistic quality, technical execution, alignment with the curatorial concept, and audio-visual cohesion. Selected entries undergo technical emulation tests before the public outdoor showcase on November 23, 2026. The event is organized by the unLoc Project at the University of National Education Commission in Krakow.
