About this call

The Untitled Space, a gallery in Tribeca, New York, invites women-identifying artists worldwide to submit work for 'WOMEN IN ART VOLUME 1: WILD AT HEART', the first volume of an annual hardcover art book series. About 50 selected artists will appear in a 200-page hardcover, each across at least two pages with a profile and/or interview. The book launches in March 2027 for Women's History Month with a Gallery Exhibition and Book Signing at The Untitled Space, alongside a three-month online exhibition on Artsy and Artnet. All selected artists are included in the digital presentation at the gallery event, with selected artworks exhibited in person; works available for sale are presented in the online exhibitions. Contributing artists receive a free digital edition of the book and a discount on hardcover copies. The theme explores instinct, emotion, freedom and the connections between inner lives and the world, and is open to figurative, abstract, conceptual and experimental work. Curators are Indira Cesarine, founder of The Untitled Space, with guest curators Monica King and Natalie Kates. Five artists receive awards: two Cover Artist Awards for the front and back covers and three Curator's Choice Awards, each with an exclusive interview, a 6 to 8 page feature and in-person display at the gallery.
