About this call
The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council presents HIGH WATER, a group exhibition marking the centennial of the Great Mississippi River Flood of 1927, in connection with the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation's Great Flood Project. Artists are invited to explore water, flooding, landscape, history, memory, resilience and the Mississippi Delta, through historical, contemporary, personal or conceptual approaches; work does not have to depict the 1927 flood. The show runs February 4 to March 4, 2027 at The Gallery at 118 Cotton in Monroe, Louisiana, United States. Applications are free, and selected artists are notified by December 14, 2026.
