About this call

Sculptor George Petrides, the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) and NYFA offer an inaugural three-month residency for one Greek artist at ISCP, 1040 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, United States, from October 1 to December 31, 2027. The artist receives a private, furnished 334-square-foot studio with 24/7 access, a monthly stipend of $3,000 for accommodation, living expenses and materials ($9,000 in total), a one-time $1,000 toward airfare and local travel, and up to $300 toward NYFA's professional development programs. The ISCP program includes at least one one-hour meeting a month with visiting critics, field trips to museums, galleries and other cultural venues, gallery walks and social gatherings, and Fall Open Studios. The artist makes their own travel and accommodation arrangements; information on short-term housing resources is provided. An independent three-person panel selects three finalists for virtual interviews; all applicants are notified by mid-late February 2027.
