About this call
Pittenweem Arts Festival is inviting artists based in Scotland to exhibit their boldest, most expressive work at the 2027 festival (30 July to 7 August 2027) in the east coast village of Pittenweem in Fife. Submissions in all forms are open, including conceptual art, performance, digital and installation, and this year the festival is particularly keen to see ambitious three dimensional work. Selected artists receive a commissioning package including financial support, promotion through the festival's marketing channels and a solo exhibition at the festival. The festival pays a fee covering set-up and the artist's presence for its duration, and helps with transportation, accommodation for up to two people, a gallery sitter, curatorial and installation assistants, exhibition space and insurance. If work is saleable, the festival takes 30% and handles all payments.
