About this call

Fifi Art House, an independent gallery founded in 2025 in Vancouver, Canada, invites artists to submit work for the gallery and for its upcoming programme of exhibitions and events. It is looking for original contemporary work with a distinct visual language and a coherent body of work, in any medium. Formal training is not required and submission is free. Every artist receives a reply by email within four weeks; selected artists receive an agreement setting out the full terms of the collaboration, including exclusivity, pricing, commission and payment, to review before signing.

Who can apply

  • Open to applicants of any nationality
  • Medium: Painting / Drawing / Printmaking / Mixed Media / Photography / Sculpture / Ceramics
  • Free entry
  • Submit three to five original works that are currently available for sale, using the form on the gallery's Artist Collaboration page. Whatever the medium, the final work must be a physical object that can be shipped. For each work give the title, year, medium, size (height x width x depth), whether it is framed, and a suggested price in Canadian dollars. Photographs should show the whole work, straight on and in even light. Self-taught artists are welcome. Artists who are not selected may apply again with new work. Selected works are offered exclusively through Fifi Art House for 12 months; the gallery sets the final retail price, taking the suggested price into account, and the artist confirms it in the agreement. Works stay in the artist's studio until sold. When a work sells, artists in Metro Vancouver bring it to the gallery within two business days and artists elsewhere in Canada send it with a prepaid label; the pages do not say how artists outside Canada take part. Artists are paid after the buyer's return period has ended.
