About this call

Hordaland Kunstsenter in Bergen, Norway, invites artists based in the Nordic and Baltic countries, except Norway, to apply for its two-month residency programme for 2027/2028. Four separate periods are available: Spring 2027, Fall 2027, Winter 2027 and Spring 2028. Each resident receives a stipend of 30,000 NOK in total, accommodation in a furnished one-bedroom apartment a few minutes' walk from the art centre, up to €500 in travel support, and a dedicated desk and working space with access to the project room when available. The centre does not privilege any single medium and is particularly interested in artists whose practice moves between disciplines. Residents are expected to give a public presentation or talk during their stay.

Who can apply

  • Medium: Mixed Media / Performance / Video / Installation / Curatorial

Travel bookings are arranged by the residency coordinator. The page does not state an application fee.
