Fumetto International Comic Competition 2027: Blubb

About this call

Fumetto's international comic competition runs in 2027 under the theme «Blubb». Fumetto draws up a shortlist of 45 works from all entries, and an expert jury picks the winners from it. The shortlist is shown in the original at the Fumetto Comic Festival Luzern, 6 to 14 March 2027, in the Gletschergarten Luzern, set in the historic exhibition setting of the Schweizerhaus in Lucerne, Switzerland; works not selected are included digitally. Fumetto awards three prizes in each of three age categories plus a prize for the best scenario within the shortlist, and festival visitors choose an audience prize. Entries are comics only, up to four pages, analogue or digital, with the use of AI excluded.
