Emerging Tallinn Open Call

About this call

Emerging Tallinn is an open call from Fotografiska Tallinn in Estonia for image-makers based in the Baltics and Finland. It is part of the global Fotografiska Emerging platform, through which artists have the opportunity to share their work online and in Fotografiska museums. Selected artists exhibit their work and produce new pieces, and receive personalised mentorship, opportunities to engage with field experts, visibility through Fotografiska's communication channels and the chance to be part of Fotografiska Tallinn's public programming. Submissions close on 29 December 2026 at 11:00 AM CET; evaluation runs from 29 December 2026 to 19 January.

• For image-makers based in the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and Finland. Submissions go through the Fotografiska Emerging platform, where only people at least 18 years of age and fully legally competent may register. You must be the sole holder of the rights to the photos, including the right to publish images of people shown; illegal, hateful, discriminatory, violent or sexually explicit content is not allowed. Uploading grants the operator a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide right to use the photos for running the platform. The call page states no entry fee. Evaluation runs from 29 December 2026 to January 19.
