About this call

The BBA Artist Prize is an annual international art competition organized by BBA Gallery (Berlin Blue Art). Open to artists aged 18 and older working in any medium, with no restrictions on theme, experience, or educational background. Artists may submit up to 5 artworks. The jury selects 50 artists for the Longlist, then 20 for the Shortlist who exhibit at BBA Gallery in Berlin for approximately 10 days. Results are announced in January 2027.

  • Medium: Mixed Media
  • Entry fee: €39
  • Open to artists aged 18 and older, all mediums and themes accepted, no restrictions on experience or educational background. Submit up to 5 artworks (jpg, png, or heic, max 3 MB each), an artist statement (max 300 words), and a CV with exhibitions list. Applications in English or German are prioritized. All submitted works should be available for sale and not exclusively contracted with another gallery.
