ST.A.I.R Open Call 2027: Styria-Artist-in-Residence Program in Graz

art quarter budapest invites artists and art theory professionals from Hungary to apply for the Styria-Artist-in-Residence Program in Graz, Austria, in May and June 2027, to get to know and study the art scene of Styria. The length of the residency is set by the applicant's work plan and the jury's decision, and is at least two months. The selected applicant receives accommodation and a studio in central Graz and a monthly stipend of EUR 1,100. The program does not cover project costs or travel. The jury: Fabian Ortner (director, Austrian Cultural Forum Budapest), Sasvári Edit (museologist and curator, Kassák Museum) and Kukla Krisztián (artistic director, aqb).

• Open to artists and art theory professionals from Hungary (the call says "magyarországi") who want to get to know and study the Styrian art scene. The residency is in May and June 2027; its length is set by the applicant's work plan and the jury's decision, and is at least two months. Submit a CV (max. 1 page), a motivation letter (max. 1,000 characters), a project description (max. 2 pages) and a portfolio, all in English and together no more than 10 MB.
