About this call
Each year, Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington invites artists from all disciplines to apply for a Visiting Artist Residency in its Hot Shop. Selected artists have full use of the state-of-the-art glassblowing Hot Shop and up to three Team members to assist. Residencies last up to five days, during which artists work in full view of museum visitors (Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm). A special Sheldon Levin Memorial Visiting Artist Residency is available for artists inspired by connections between art and science.

- Open to artists from all artistic mediums. Artists cover their own travel, accommodation, color, and special order materials. Must donate up to two works: one for the Museum collection and one for the annual auction. Artists awarded a residency are eligible to reapply every three years only. No late applications accepted.
