About this call

The Manuela Wurch Güdel Stiftung, based in Solothurn, Switzerland, supports art projects that develop from the perspective of women or take up themes significant to women's lives and experiences. Each year an independent jury awards CHF 12,000 to one woman artist, women's group or cooperation of women, paid directly to the artists for the concrete realisation of a project. The focus is on visual and applied art; performing arts projects can be considered, usually only when experimental or innovative, and large stage productions are excluded. Applications are accepted from 1 to 30 November each year through the online application form only, with a CV, project description, schedule, documentation of work and a budget. Each applicant may submit one application per year. The jury's decision is sent by email in the following year, and a digital documentation of the project is due no later than three months after it is completed.
