About this call
artspring berlin and the Ateliergemeinschaft Milchhof hold a small light art festival in the Pavillon am Milchhof in Berlin, Germany, in January and February. The pavilion sits on the grounds of the Milchhof studio community at Schwedter Straße 232 and can be viewed 24/7. Two curated exhibitions with 4 to 6 artistic positions are planned: the first opens on 9 January 2027 and runs 10 to 24 January, the second opens on 30 January 2027 and runs 31 January to 15 February. The call is for works that experiment with light as a material and in which light is the central medium; experimental and established forms of light art are both welcome, as are works already realised and new concepts. An expense allowance of up to €200 can be provided for transport, materials or accompanying events.
