Greater Des Moines Exhibited 2027

About this call

Polk County Heritage Gallery in Des Moines invites Iowa artists to submit up to three original works for its annual juried exhibition, Greater Des Moines Exhibited 2027, selected by juror Anna Segner. The call for entries runs October 30 to November 20, artists are notified around December 7, and accepted work is dropped off on December 17. The exhibition is on view January 7 through February 18, with an award ceremony and opening reception on Thursday, January 7, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. The juror awards $950 in cash among seven artists: one $350 Best in Show, three $125 Merit Awards and three $75 Honorable Mentions, mailed within 72 hours of the awards show.
