Blue: Juried Photography Exhibition

About this call

Decode Gallery, a submission based photography gallery in Tucson, Arizona, invites photographers to submit work on the theme Blue, a colour found everywhere from landscapes and seascapes to portraits and abstracts. The juror, photographer Holly Hart, will select at least 26 images for exhibition at the gallery from January 2 to January 30. The gallery prints one exhibition print of each accepted image for free on an Epson printer with Ilford Pearl paper and presents it in a 22 x 22 inch white frame. Prints may be listed for sale, with a 50% commission to the gallery, and all rights to the image stay with the photographer.

• Entry fee: $40
• Open to all photographers worldwide, amateur and professional. Entry fee: $40 for a 5 image entry, $45 for a 10 image entry. Photographers are notified by email within two weeks after the deadline; high resolution JPGs are due two days after the acceptance email. The gallery prints one exhibition print per accepted image, adjusts its size to the mat without cropping, and archives the print in a flat file for 6 months after the show. Entering adds you to Decode Gallery's email list. Submitted images must be your own work, you must own all rights to them, and you take full responsibility for their content, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. If accepted, you grant Decode Gallery the right to reproduce your image on its website, social media and publications to help promote its online exhibitions, with credit wherever feasible.
