About this call
DORF, an artist-led contemporary arts organization in Austin, Texas, United States, offers one early-mid-career artist living and working in Travis, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell or Williamson County a year-long mentorship program in 2027. The fellow works with DORF through every step of planning, producing, curating, marketing and programming a solo exhibition at DORF's Zilker location (218 South Lamar Blvd., Austin) in Fall 2027, with bi-monthly meetings with DORF leadership, guest artists and curators and a full marketing and press campaign. The fellow also joins the Spring 2027 Mid-America Arts Alliance Artist Leadership Fellowship cohort, an eight-week virtual professional development program. The fellowship includes a $5,500 unrestricted honorarium. Art sales during the exhibition are split 70/30 in the artist's favour.
