About this call
The AIM Fellowship is The Bronx Museum's annual professional development and career accelerator program for rising visual artists based in New York City, United States, now in its 47th cycle. Fourteen Fellows are selected each year. They meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 PM at the museum: a Career Foundations half from February to June 2027 (the art market, artist statements, financial literacy, funding, art law and more) and a Career Development half from September to December 2027 (studio visits, portfolio reviews, guest artists, exhibition preparation). In early 2028 the cohort organizes a public convening at the museum. AIM is not a studio program and provides no studio space; the museum seeks to highlight artists who completed the Fellowship through a dedicated biennial exhibition with a fully illustrated catalogue. Open to New York City residents who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
