About this call

A one month analog photography residency run inside an Airstream trailer converted into a mobile darkroom. Seven one month residencies run from April to October 2027, one artist per month, sited across the five boroughs of New York City in partnership with Alice Austen House, Inspiration Point, The Green-Wood Cemetery, The Center for Arts and Advocacy, The Lower Eastside Girls Club and NYC Parks. Residents get exclusive access to the darkroom to process film and make new work, a stipend, materials, and the option to host a public program.

• Applicants must have previous experience working in a darkroom independently. Applicants cannot be currently enrolled in an art related degree program, nor be planning to attend one in the coming year. Residencies take place in New York City.
