About this call
SAM Residencies is a museum-run programme committed to supporting innovative artistic and curatorial practices that respond to current global discourses. Cycle 4 offers three residency types: Artist Residency, Community and Education Residency, and Curatorial and Research Residency. The thematic strands are Listening/Attuning, Making/Material Cultures, and Beyond Human/Interdependence. International residents stay for 1 to 3 months; Singapore-based residents may stay up to 6 months. The residency period runs from June 2027 to December 2028.

- Open to individuals, duos, and collectives from all mediums and disciplines, aged 21 and above. International and Singapore-based practitioners are welcome. Applicants must submit a CV or resume, a portfolio, a 500 to 1,000 word statement of interest, and one recommendation letter.
