About this call

Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) invites curators, art researchers, writers, cultural producers, and creative professionals with curatorial experience to apply for its 2027 Curators-in-Residence Program. Selected curators collaborate with MIFA's Artistic Director to evaluate exhibition proposals, mentor participating artists, and develop exhibitions. The programme seeks to strengthen emerging curatorial voices and build a diverse exhibition programme connected to the cultural context of South Florida. Commitment is approximately 8-12 hours per month, with in-person attendance required for key events.

  • Submit CV (max 3 pages), letter of intent (max 700 words), portfolio (max 15 pages), writing sample (max 1,500 words), research proposal (max 500 words), availability confirmation, and conflict-of-interest declaration. Professional fluency in English or Spanish required. Academic credentials in curatorial studies not required.
