Kunstnarhuset Messen
About this call
Kunstnarhuset Messen (KHMessen) is an artist-in-residence centre in Norway offering a programme for Norwegian and international artists of all disciplines. Its purpose is to provide emerging and established artists, musicians, writers and progressive thinkers a place for free expression and to meet other creative people in a small collaborative community; families with children may also apply. Following selection by a professional committee, around 40 artists are invited each year for periods of one to three months, with those applying for one to three months chosen first. The selection mixes established and recently graduated artists. The application deadline is August 31, 2026. Details of fees and provisions are set out in the centre how-to-apply information.
