About this call
ASEF LinkUp 2026 is the fourth edition of the Asia-Europe Cultural Diplomacy Lab, taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The programme gathers 20 interdisciplinary participants from 51 ASEM partner countries and unfolds across three phases from October 2026 to February 2027. Phase one consists of five online pre-sessions; phase two is a five-day in-person lab in Ljubljana (23 to 27 November 2026); phase three includes follow-up online sessions for fieldbook development. The 2026 theme is Sustainability, Ethics and Equity in International Cultural Relations. The programme is fully funded, covering travel, accommodation, per diem, and visa fees.
