About this call

Funded by the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation, Peters Valley School of Craft in Layton, New Jersey offers fully funded guest artist residencies in November 2026. Two-week residencies run November 2 to 16 and three-week residencies run November 2 to 23. Selected artists receive a $600 stipend for two-week stays or $900 for three-week stays, along with a private room in a furnished shared house and unlimited access to fully equipped studios with utilities included. The program welcomes artists working in blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, jewelry and fine metals, wood, or printmaking (printmaking limited to two weeks). Artists must have experience with the relevant tools and be able to work independently; a personal vehicle is required due to the rural campus. The application fee is $10.
