About this call

The Academy of Ceramics Gmunden (Austria), in partnership with the Yingge Ceramics Museum and Gmundner.Keramik, offers an international residency exchange for ceramic artists. Selected artists undertake a 61-day residency in New Taipei City at Taiwan premier ceramics center, with proposed projects expected to engage with Taiwan local context. Residencies take place in May-June 2027 or May-June 2028. The program provides a monthly grant of NT$24,000, economy-class airfare, accommodation, fully equipped studio and workshop space, a material budget, and exhibition opportunities at OOeLKG museums. Applicants must be independent ceramic artists with an Upper Austrian connection and completed artistic training or equivalent professional credentials. Applications must be in English and include a motivation letter, project proposal, and portfolio with CV.
