About this call

The Art Canada Institute in Toronto, Canada offers the New Voices Publishing Fellowship to one early-career postdoctoral scholar of Canadian art. The $60,000 fellowship is tenable for one year and supports the writing of a 30,000 to 40,000 word manuscript for an ACI online art book, in one of its series: Life & Work, Canadian Cities, Artist Groups or Themes in Canadian Art. The Fellow receives a publishing contract with ACI, mentorship from leading figures in Canadian art, dedicated editorial support and opportunities to present the project to ACI's community. Proposals may address historical, contemporary, Indigenous or diasporic art practices in Canada.
