Five Points Comics Comic Competition: Autumn Metamorphosis

About this call

Five Points Comics, a comics publisher based in Vienna, Austria, runs a themed comic competition. This round, Autumn Metamorphosis, takes its cue from Franz Kafka's tale of transformation and asks for comics about shape-shifting, mutation, conversion and transfiguration. Entries of 1 to 4 pages are sent as one PDF by email. A pre-selection jury from the Five Points Comics team narrows the entries, and a final jury of the team and comic book professionals picks one winner, judged on adherence to the theme, graphic and narrative quality and originality. The winning comic is published on the Five Points Comics website and distributed in its online store, and the winning artist is interviewed, appears in the website's featured artist section and receives a free publication. The competition is free.
