About this call

The Woman Artist Award, now in its 7th edition, is an international open call by Arts to Hearts Project for emerging and mid-career women artists. The Award is the open call, and Women Artists on the Rise is the book series featuring selected artists: this edition prepares the 5th Edition of that hardcover coffee table book. The theme is open and all mediums are welcome. The Main Prize Winner receives US$500, an engraved glass trophy with a certificate, a full-length interview in the book, an interview on the Arts to Hearts Project website, a one-year portfolio feature in the Women in Arts Network and a one-year magazine subscription. The First Runner-up receives an engraved glass trophy, a certificate, a website interview, a one-year Women in Arts Network portfolio feature and a one-year print and digital magazine subscription; the Second Runner-up receives the same with a six-month Women in Arts Network feature and a one-year digital magazine subscription. The top three winners are also offered mentorship calls with established art professionals and a subscription to Fiber Art Now magazine.
