About this call
The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke seeks proposals from professional artists who are a visible minority for the third Bourse de création Kesar, funded by the Rahimaly-Mamode family. One grant of $12,000 is awarded each year (2025, 2026 and 2027) after a jury review. The three recipients share a creative residency from September 5 to 19, 2027 to develop a common narrative, and in 2028 the museum presents a group exhibition of their work, with technical and administrative support and artist fees at CARFAC rates.
