FEAST: Group Show Call for Submissions

About this call

Argyle Fine Art in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, invites submissions to FEAST, a group show inspired by eating, one of the things we all have in common. The show is about more than food: celebration, bringing people together and sharing an experience. The gallery is looking for work that goes beyond a traditional food still life, though still life and food imagery are welcome, and would like a few ceramic works and textiles. Artists in all mediums, 2D and 3D, may submit. The opening reception is Friday, November 13, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and the show runs to December 2, 2026.

• Medium: Painting / Ceramics / Textile / Sculpture / Mixed Media
• Entry fee: See official site
• Open to artists locally and across Canada. Up to three works, no size limits; work must be your own, new and not previously shown, gallery ready, framed and with hardware where applicable. All accepted works must be available for sale through the gallery. Shipping to and from the gallery is at the artist's expense. Submit by email to gallery@argylefa.com with subject line FEAST: phone number and email, titles and materials, a JPEG (only) of each piece named last name, first initial, title of piece and submission number (for example McGuireC_GreenRoom01.jpg), and one photo of all works together on a neutral background. The gallery is happy to receive submissions any time before the deadline.
